S C across field, Spes standing to left, holding flower and lifting skirt, (S.2659, RIC 1054, cf.C.454) (illustrated); Vespasian, (A.D. 69-79), AE as, Lugdunum mint, issued A.D. 72, (11.54 g), obv. laureate head of Vespasian to right, around IMP CAESAR VESPASIAN AVG COS IIII, rev. eagle standing facing to right on globe S C across, (cf.S.2362, RIC 1202, BMC 822). Toning, good fine - nearly very fine. (2)
