PONTIF TRIBVN POTE[ST ITER] around, S C across field in centre, (S.1793, RIC 45, BMC 99); Trajan, (A.D. 98-117), silver denarius, issued 104-106, Rome Mint, (2.59 g), obv. laureate draped bust to right of Trajan, around IMP TRAIANO AVG GER DAC P M TR P, rev. Victory draped standing to left, holding wreath and palm frond, around COS V P P S P Q R OPTIMO PRINC, (cf.S.3129, cf.RIC 128, cf.RSC 75b). Toning, good fine - nearly very fine, first coin scarce.
