Group of Five: 1939-45 Star; Pacific Star; Defence Medal 1939-45; War Medal 1939-45; Australia Service Medal 1939-45. First two medals unnamed, P.M.V.186. K.Duncombe. on last three medals. The named medals impressed. A few oxidation spots on last three medals, otherwise very fine.
Kenneth Duncombe, born 19Nov1906 at Swansea, Tas; Enl.29Jun1942 at Melbourne, Vic at rank of Able Seaman; various postings including HMAS Melville, Lonsdale, Bombo, Seamist, Chinampa, Basilisk, Cerberus, Penguin, Madang and others with service in Darwin, Madang, Lae, Port Moresby and Rabaul; Disch.24Apr1946 ex HMAS Lonsdale.
