AUGUSTUS, (27 B.C. - A.D. 14), AE as, posthumous issue, Rome mint, issued under Tiberius, issued A.D. 22-30, (10.72 g), obv. radiate head of Augustus to left, around DIVVS AVGVSTVS PATER, rev. PROVIDENT in exergue, S C across field, altar enclosure with double panelled door, (S.1789, RIC 81, BMC 146). Attractive deep green toning, good fine or better.
