South India, an interesting group of different AE jitals or fractions most each about 3g., some smaller, featuring human figures or gods (including Hunaman type, illustrated, cf.M.CHSI 565-570) and other animal and inate forms, mostly from the Vijayanagar rulers and their contemporary 14th - 17th century (3 illustrated), others from later period Sivaganga mint c.17901843, cf.M.CHSI 1167ff, one illustrated) and various others with god standing or squatting figures on the obverse. Mostly very fine. (16)
