Nero Claudius Drusus (died 9 B.C.), struck under Claudius, (A.D. 41-54), AE Sestertius, issued c.A.D.41-50, Rome mint, (25.9 grams), obv. bare head to left of Drusus, around NERO CLAVDIVS DRVSVS GERMANICVS IMP, rev. Claudius bare-headed seated to left on curule chair, wearing togate, holding branch, weapons and armour around, around TI CLAVDIVS CAESAR AVG P M TR P IMP, S C in exergue, (S.593, RIC 93, BMC 157). Nearly very fine and a rare type.
