Scotland, Perthshire, Deanston, John Buchanan's Adelphi Mills, no value stated (two shillings and sixpence), a France, Louis XV, half ecu aux lauriers, Strassburg Mint (1726-40) countermarked on the obverse Adelphi Cotton Work around a woolsack (Davis 89, Manville 24, this coin p.59). Host coin very worn, countermark very fine, rare.
