Description

Titus, (A.D. 79-81), AE as, Rome mint, issued A.D. 80-1, (12.3 grams), obv. laureate head of Titus to left, around IMP T CAES VESP AVG P M TR P COS VIII, rev. Pax standing to left, holding branch and caduceus, around PAX AVGVST, S C across field, (S.-, RIC 129b). Dark patina, slightly off centre on the reverse, otherwise nearly very fine, scarce.
