Palestine, Judaea, Second Revolt or Bar Cochba War, (A.D. 132-135), medium bronze, AE 23, (8.2 grams), Third Coinage, dated coinage of year 2 = A.D. 133-4, obv. vine leaf, around Hebrew legend = 'y(ear) 2 for the Freedom of Israel', rev. seven branch palm tree with legend in Hebrew 'Shim`on', (S.5682, Mildenberg 58 [these dies obv. 4, rev. 22],, SNG ANS 536 [same dies], H.708). Nearly very fine and very rare die combination.
