Palestine, Roman Procurator of Judaea, Pontius Pilate, under Tiberius, (A.D. 26-36), copper prutah, obv. littus, some with partial legends of TIBEPIOY KAICAPOC, rev. date in wreath LIZ or LIH but not discernable, (year 17-18 = A.D.30-31), (S.5624, H.649-650 [114-5]). Carefully cleaned, one holed, otherwise very good - nearly fine, scarce. (6)
