Palestine, Judaea, Alexander Jannaeus, (103-76 B.C.), AE 140, copper prutat, (2.33 grams), obv. lily surrounded by Paleo-Hebrew inscription [Yehonatan the King], border of dots, rev. upside anchor within circle, around **[BASILE]WS ALEXAND[ROU]*, (S.6086, H.467 [7], Meshorer 5, AJC Series A [pl.4]). Off centred on the reverse, however a good reading of his name, good very fine and very scarce.
