Robe Pastoral Agricultural and Horticultural Association Show, 5th Oct.1882, prize medal (26mm), in gold (18ct; 9.90g), by H.Steiner, Adelaide, with ring top suspension, reverse inscribed, 'Best Blood/Entire Roadster/Awarded to/D McBain Esq', in plush leather case with clear panel on lid for viewing. Uncirculated.

The Robe Pastoral, Agricultural, and Horticultural Association's ninth annual show was held on Thursday 5 October 1882. Mr D.McBain of Mount Benson won several prizes for thoroughbreds. The Best Blood Entire Roadster won by him for his horse, Conrad, was a special prize given by the executive committee. After the show a dinner was held at the Robe Hotel and Mr D. McBain, the vice-president of the association presided.
