Description

Netherlands East Indies, Dutch Klewang sword, with steel blade (approx length 60cm), with fuller, with metal hand guard, timber and metal handle, with leather scabbard with brass fittings at each end, the scabbard with various engravings on leather featuring the Navy and the RAAF and other items. Blade black toned and heavily oiled, the hand guard with black spotting and the handle metal with oxidation, the scabbard with a small torn section and dent in lower metal attachment, otherwise good fine.
