Australia, trench art ashtray, in chromed brass, with base of an 18Pr II shell casing, also marked Lot 570, Defence A with arrow above and other markings, inside is fitted a machine gun casing and cartridge and on the outside of the base are two opposing chromed bronze small Rising Sun badges. Very fine.
