Together with Lord Mayor's Soudan Medal inscribed, 'J.R.McGregor'; copy of the New South Wales Contingent Nominal Roll showing 60 Private J.R.McGregor with C Company, Infantry.^James Robinson McGregor, plasterer, born Hobart, Tas; Enl.18Feb1885 at age 25; Emb.03Mar1885 on SS Iberia; on return trip to Australia on SS Arab was one of 12 members of the contingent left at Colombo to be hospitalised with typhoid fever 01Jun1885; RTA 21Aug1885 on RMS Valetta.
