Memorial Plaque WWI, named to Thomas Henry Booth, printed with a black marker pen on the reverse, 'This Soldier Probably A Kiwi. Bought in Nelson NZ'. Short scratch on obverse, otherwise very fine.

Ex Barry D. Scott Collection.^There was a Thomas Booth from NZ who was KIA, but he has no Henry in his name. There were two Australians named Thomas Henry Booth who served but both returned to Australia. The person named on the plaque is possibly 10009 Pte Thomas Henry Booth, 15 Bn Cheshire Regiment who died of wounds 17 July 1918 and is buried/commemorated at Cabaret-Rouge British Cemetery, Souchez, France.
