Marcus Aurelius, (A.D. 161-180), silver denarius, Rome Mint, issued A.D. 164-5, (3.21 g), obv. laureate bust of Marcus Aurelius to right, around ANTONINVS AVG ARMENIACVS, rev. around TR P VIII IMP II COS III, ARMEN in exergue, Armenia with peaked cap seated to left, in attitude of sadness, holding bow and quiver, before her vexillum and shield, (S.4881, RIC 81). Toned, nearly very fine and very scarce.
