Mesopotamia, Singara, Gordian III, with Tranquillina, (AD 238-244), AE 31mm (22.16 g), obv. laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Gordian III on left vis a vis diademed and draped bust of Tranquillina on right, rev. Tyche seated left on rocks, holding branch, Centaur Sagittarius leaping left and discharging bow above, river-god below, (BMC Arabia p. 135, 8-11) (illustrated); another similar AE 30, (20.59 g); another AE 26 mm, (11.28 g), obv. around radiate head to right, rev. turreted and draped bust of Tyche right, above, the centaur Sagittarius to right, discharging bow, (S.3791, BMC p.134, 1 [Pl.XIX 1], SNG Cop.255). First coin good very fine, green and brown patina, a hint of porosity, second coin very good, third coin good fine with oxidation. (3)
