Syria, Decapolis, Petra, Caracalla with Geta as Caesar, (AD 198-211), AE 22mm, (6.71 g), obv. confronted busts of Caracalla to right and Geta to left, countermarked **D* within a circle, rev. Tyche seated left on rocky outcropping holding stele and trophy, (Howgego 801 for cm., Spijkerman 43a for reverse type for Caracalla); another Coele Syria, Damascus, Otacillia Severa (AD 244-249), AE 29mm, (22.35 g), obv. diademed and draped bust right, rev. agonistic urn containing a cypress, below a ram's head to right, (cf. Rosenberger 33 for rev. type of Philip I, cf.SNG Munich 1020 for similar coin of Philip I, unpublished in standard references). Both coins about fine and very rare. (2)
