Cilicia, Tarsus, Gordian III, (AD 238-244), AE 35mm (23.59 g), obv. radiate and cuirassed bust right, rev. Herakles holding club and lion skin, (not in published references); another similar, AE 39mm, (30.28 g), obv. laureate, cuirassed bust right, rev. Gordian standing left holding patera over altar, (SNG France 1689, SNG Levante -); third coin similar, AE 38mm, (30.58 g), obv. radiate draped and cuirassed bust right, rev. Tyche panthea standing left holding rudder on globe and cornucopiae, (cf.SNG Levante 113, cf.SNG France 1695) (illustrated); others (2) worn AE from Mastaura in Lydia, and Tarsus, Cilicia of Trajan Decius. Fair - fine, all scarce. (5)
