Kybele seated left, holding phiale, resting elbow on drum, lions seated on either side of throne, (S.-, AMNG I 496 var. (obv. legend), SNG Budapest -, Varbanov 610 var. [same]); another Gordian III, with Tranquillina, (AD 238-244), AE pentassarion, 27mm, (14.68 g), obv. laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Gordian right, vis-a-vis draped bust of Tranquillina left, rev. male on horseback right, bird perched on column to left, altar to right, (S.-. AMNG I 526, SNG Budapest 58 var. (spacing of ethnic), Varbanov 690 var.). Both nearly very fine, brown surfaces, light roughness, scarce. (2)
