Moesia Inferior, Dionysopolis, Gordian III, (AD 238-244), AE pentassaria 28mm, (12.88 g). Confronted busts of Gordian III and Serapis, rev. Zeus seated left, holding patera and sceptre, eagle at his feet, E (denomination) in left field, (S.-, AMNG I, 385.2, Mouchmov 121, Varbanov 585). Very fine, brown patina, rare.
