Macedon, Demetrios I Poliorketes, (306-283 B.C.), silver drachm, (4.21 g), Tarsos Mint, struck c.298-295 B.C., obv. Nike standing to left on prow of galley, blowing trumpet and cradling stylis, rev. below **BASILEWS* and to right **DHMHTRIOU*, Poseidon advancing left, brandishing trident, A in left field, monogram in right, (S.6765, Newell 52.44, SNG Munchen 1039). Good very fine or better and very rare.
