India, Sultans of Delhi, Farid-ud-din Sher Shah Suri, (945-952 A.H., 1538-1545 A.D.), silver rupee, (11.20 g), Gwalior Mint, dated 952, obv. three lines, (the Kalina), around (names of the four successors), rev. five lines (Sher Shah Sultan, May God Perpetuate his dominion, (G&G D781) another similar, dated 949, (11.22 g), (G&G D781). Nearly very fine, both with several schrof marks. (2)
