Faustina Junior, wife of Marcus Aurelius, (died A.D. 175), AE as, (13.04 g), Rome Mint, issued c.164-169 A.D, obv. draped bust to right of Faustina, around FAVSTINA AVGVSTA, rev. Venus standing to right, grasping arm of Mars, holding shield, around VENERI VICTRICI, SC across field, (S.5305, RIC 1680, C.241). Attractively toned, very fine or better and very scarce.
