Faustina Junior, wife of Marcus Aurelius, (d.A.D. 175), AE sestertius, issued 165, (23.16 g), obv. FAVSTINA AVGVSTA, draped bust to right, rev. VENVS VICTRIX, Venus, draped, standing front, head left, holding Victory on extended right hand and resting left on shield set on helmet, shield shows wolf and twins, S C across, (S.5288, RIC 1688, BMC 960); AE as, issued c.158, (10.21 g), rev. Concordia, draped, standing front, head left, holding patera and cornucopia, (S.472, RIC 1390). Toning, fine - nearly very fine. (2)
