Egypt, Alexandria, Faustina Junior, daughter of Antoninus Pius, wife of Marcus Aurelius, (d.A.D. 175), billon tetradrachm, year 12 of Antoninus Pius, (12.18 g), obv. draped bust of Faustina to right, around **F*AVC[TINA] CEBACTH, rev. Eusebeia, veiled, seated left by altar, holding patera and sceptre, around L **DWDE-KATOY*, (S.-, BMC 1321, Milne 1985, Dattari 3247, Emmett 1944.12). Attractively toned, very fine with a high silver content and very rare.
