Egypt, Alexandria, Antoninus Pius, (138-161 A.D.), AE drachm, c.152-153 (year 16), (11.64 g), obv. laureate bust to right, rev. Nilus reclining left, holding reed, behind him a cornucopiae from which a Genius emerges, to left a dome, water plants and crocodile in exergue, (S.-, Milne 2184); fouree denarius, imitating the type issued A.D. 146, (2.25 g), obv. laureate head right, rev. clasped hands holding cornucopiae between corn ears, (cf.S.4078, cf.RIC 136). Toning, nearly fine. (2)
