Ionia, Smyrna, Faustina Junior, Augusta, (A.D. 147-175), AE assarion, (5.98 g), Theudianos, strategos, issued c.147-161, obv. draped bust of Faustina Junior to right, around **FAUCTEINA CEBACTH*, rev. Griffin standing right, placing left fore-paw on wheel, around **QEUDIANOC ANEQHKE*, (S.-, Klose 8, Winterthur 3180, RPC IV.2 online 244). Toned, mild surface corrosion and evidence of cleaning, otherwise good very fine and very rare.
