Boiotia, Thebes, (395-338 B.C.), silver stater (12.17 g), Theot[i] magistrate, obv. Boiotian shield, rev. amphora in incuse concave field, across field to left **QE* and to right O[T], (cf.S.2398, BCD 546 [Triton IX p.102 suggests after 363 B.C.], Head 'Boeotia' p.65, Hepworth D2.1 No.60 on list, BMC -). Lightly toned, slightly off centred, nearly extremely fine and rare.
