Thrace, Byzantion, pseudo-autonomous issue, (struck c.1st Century A.D.), AE 21, (6.69 g), obv. head of Dionysus right, wreathed with vine leaves, rev. around **BYZANTIWN*, bunch of grapes on stem, (S.-, RPC IV.1 Online 10363 (temporary), SNG Cop 501, BMC 97 44, Schonert-Geiss, Byzantion 2104). Deep green toning, very fine and very scarce.
