Pair: Order of St John, Officer Serving Sister breast badge (type 2), with pin-back ribbon bow; Service Medal of the Order of St John, with four 5-year bars (type 2), with pin-back ribbon suspender. I.Davey 22/11/45 on first medal, 2331 I.K.E.Davey. Australia. S.J.A.B.O. 1938 on second medal. Both medals engraved. In official cases of issue, both with age toning on lid lining, medals with hairlines, otherwise extremely fine.

Together with ribands with silver cross emblem for first medal, riband with two silver cross emblems for second medal and riband bar for both medals with gold coloured cross on second ribbon, this riband bar with pin-back suspension.
In the West Australian newspaper it was reported on 2 May 1946 that at the St John Headquarters Hall Lady Louis Mountbatten made her last public appearance in Australia to address uniformed members of the St John Ambulance Nursing Divisions, Voluntary Aid Detachments and the Red Cross Emergency Service Company after inspecting the nursing divisions of Bunbury, Fremantle and Perth. At the end of the ceremony Lady Louis Mountbatten made presentations including a long service bar to Miss I.K.Davey. This was Miss Davey's first bar.
