Military General Service Medal 1793-1814, - six clasps - Ciudad Rodrigo, Badajoz, Salamanca, Nivelle, Orthes, Toulouse, with brooch suspension. Jas. Fleetwood, Lieut. 74th Foot. Impressed. Hairlines and some minute edge nicks, otherwise extremely fine.
James Fleetwood Enl.04Oct1810 as an Ensign in the 74th Foot (Highland Regiment); proceeded with the regiment to the Peninsula War in Apr1811; promoted to Lieutenant 30Apr1812; served throughout the campaign; exchanged to 25th Light Dragoons 09Oct1823 and went to half pay.
