Islamic, Ghaznavids, Mahmud b. Sebukt-egin as Yemin al-dawla, (A.H. 388-421) (A.D. 998-1030), silver four dirhams, (8.24 g), Anderaba mint, A.H. 389 = A.D. 999, cites Gov. Balkategin and mint name (A.1608, M.765, Wilkes, Islamic Coin Values, 1704). Good very fine, weakly struck as usual, scarce.
Ex Noble Numismatics Sale 56 (lot 2298 part) and previously from Baldwin's London with their descriptive ticket c.1979.
