China, charms, a small group of charms, one obv. pictorial type with figure on right facing left, rev. zodiac symbols arranged around cental circular hole, 69mm (No.1538 Zhong guo hua qian) (illustrated); another 68mm, 15-16th century, (Thierry 119 and p.71, with detailed description), obv. figure standing to right on left, plants around, rev. formula of Ge Hong (283-363) (illustrated)i; two others both 54mm, with figurative scene or animals on one side and text on the other, (Not in Zhong guo hua qian or Thierry). Fine - very fine. (4)
