Richard II, (1377-1399), silver half groat, type II, London Mint, mintmark cross pattee, (1.93 g), obv. crowned bust facing within tressure of arches, fleurs on all cusps, no pellets above crown, legend around, without French title, double saltire stops, Lombardic N, rev. long cross pattee dividing the legends, in each angle three pellets, double saltire stops, reversed Roman Ns with contraction mark above second N, (S.1682, N.1322). Toned, fine and rare.
