Henry II, (1154-1189), silver penny, cross and crosslets type, class C1, Bristol Mint, moneyer Eilaf, (1.48 g), obv. crowned bust facing wearing armour and mantle with sceptre in right hand, mantle indicated by sweeping lines; pellets at collar and wrist, trefoil on mantle, rev. large cross potent with small cross potent in each angle, in centre a small cross in saltire, (S.1339, N.956). Toned, good fine and scarce.
