GREAT BRITAIN, British Ordnance issue MkIII Pattern 1887 sword bayonet for MkIV Martini Henry service rifle, dated 1889, chequered leather grip, pommel marked 7286, leather and metal scabbard marked 11813, ricasso marked, 'a Victorian crown/V.R./'89/Wilkinson/Sword Company/London' and on the opposite side is marked, 'a broad arrow/WD/a Victorian crown/49/W'. Spotting and dark toned areas on blade, otherwise good fine.

Note: Licence to own required in State of Victoria, Australia.

No mail out for this lot, collection only from Sydney Office, or buyer to make own arrangements.
