Trajan, (A.D.98-117), AE sestertius, Rome Mint, issued 116, (23.92 g), obv. laureate draped bust of Trajan to right, around IMP CAES NER TRAIANO OPTIMO AVG GER DAC P M TR P COS VI P P, rev. Fortuna seated to left holding rudder and cornucopiae, around SENATVS POPVLVSQVE ROMANVS, FORT RED over S C in exergue, (S.3193, RIC 652, C.158, BMC 1026). Attractive green and red patina, minor surface pitting, nearly extremely fine and rare in this condition.
