Titus and Deified Vespasian, (A.D.79-81), issue struck at Rome A.D.80-81, AE Sestertius, (26.55 g), obv. radiate statue of Vespasian seated right on ornate stool, holding long scepter in right hand and Victory, holding palm and wreath in extended left hand, set on ornate car drawn right by four elephants, [DIVO]/AVG/VESP in upper right field, S P Q R in exergue, rev. large SC across field, around IMP T CAES DIVI VES[P F AVG P M TR P P P COS VIII], (S.2572, RIC 257 (Titus), C.205). Deeply toned, struck slightly off centre on reverse, fine and rare.
