Titus, (A.D. 79-81), silver denarius, Rome Mint, issue of A.D. 79, (3.54 g), obv. IMP TITVS CAES VESPASIAN AVG P M, laureate head to right, rev. TR P VIIII IMP XV COS VII P P, Venus standing right her back turned towards spectator holding helmet and transverse spear and resting on column, (cf.S.2448, RIC 53, RSC 284). Attractively toned, light scratches in obverse field, nearly extremely fine and very scarce.
