Vespasian, (A.D. 69-79), silver denarius, Rome Mint, issued A.D.72-3, (3.52 g), obv. laureate head of Vespasian to right, around IMP CAES VESP A VG P M, rev. simpulum, sprinkler, jug and lituus, AVGVR TRI POT across, (S.2282, RIC 43, RSC 30). Uneven flan, very fine.
