Gaius (Caligula), with Augustus, (37-41 A.D.), silver denarius, (3.58 g), Lugdunum (Lyon) Mint, struck in 37 A.D. obv. around C CAESAR AVG GERM P M TR POT COS, bare head of Gaius (Caligula) to right, rev. radiate head of Augustus to right between two stars, (S.1808, RIC 2, RSC 11, BMC 10). Lightly toned with striong portraits, mild scratches on obverse fields, good very fine or better and rare.
