L. Livineius Regulus, (42 B.C.), silver denarius, Rome Mint, (3.34 g), obv. head of praetor L. Livineius Regulus to right, REGVLVS PR around, rev. L. LIVINEIVS above curule chair, between six fasces, [REGVLVS] in exergue, (S.490, Cr.494/27, Syd.1109, B.Livineia 10). Attractive dark patina, off centred on the reverse, weak in places, otherwise good very fine and very scarce.
