P. Plautius Hypsaeus, (c.60 B.C.), silver denarius, Rome Mint, (3.93 g), obv. Leuconoe draped bust to right, dolphin behind, P. YPSAE. S.C. before, rev. Jupiter in quadriga to left, C. YPSAE. COS/ PRIV in exergue. [CEPIT] on right, (S.376, Cr.420/2a, Syd.911, B.Plautia 12). Grey and gold patina, nearly extremely fine, rare.
