C. Sulpicius C.F. Galba, (106 B.C.), silver denarius, Rome Mint, (3.92 g), obv. laureate heads of the Dei Penates, cojoined to the left D.P.P. before, border of dots, rev. two soldiers swearing oath over sow, letter Q above, C. SV LP(ligated) ICI. C. F, in exergue, border of dots, serrated edge, (S.189, C.312/1, BMC 1323, RSC Sulpicia 1, RBW 1155). Toned, nearly extremely fine and very scarce.
