L. Postumius Albinus, silver denarius, issued 131 B.C., (3.96 g), Rome Mint, obv. helmeted head of Roma to right, below chin *, behind an Apex (Flamen's cap), border of dots, rev. Mars in quadriga to right, holding spear, shield and reins in left hand and trophy in right hand, below L.POST. ALB (ligated), in exergue ROMA, (S.128, Crawford 252/1, Syd 472, RSC Postumia 1). Toned, reverse struck off centre, very fine - good very fine and scarce.
