Caria, Mylasa, (c.520-490 B.C.), silver stater, 19mm, (10.88 g), Persic standard, obv. forepart of roaring lion to left, dotted bar on shoulder, two incuse rectangles, (S.3575, SNG Kayhan 929, SNG von Aulock 2337, ACNAC Rosen 611, Konuk, Influences, pl. XXIX, 4 = Nanteuil 560; SNG Cop. 179). Good very fine, very scarce.
