Boiotia, Thebes, (425-400 B.C.), silver stater (12.095 g), obv. Boiotian shield, rev. amphora in incuse square with ivy leaf hanging from left handle, across field to left **Q* and to right E, (cf.S.2384, BCD 389 [Triton IX p.76], Head 'Boeotia' p.36 Class gamma, BMC 74). Toned, good very fine and very rare.
