Akarnania, Thyrrheion, (320-280 B.C.), silver stater, 22mm, (8.02 g), obv. Pegasos flying to left, **QU* below, rev. head of Athena to left, wearing plain Corinthian helmet, across **Q U*, behind Boeotian shield, (cf.S.2301; Calciati 22 [p.518], Cammann NN&M 53, No.110 [Pl.IX], BCD Akarnania 370 var.; SNG Cop.412, BMC 15-17, HGC 4, 919). Toned, flat in places, good very fine and rare.
